Notes

Storage:
Store leftover turkey chili in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.
Reheating:
Reheat on the stovetop over medium-low heat or microwave in short intervals until hot. Add a small splash of broth if the chili becomes too thick.
Freezing:
Freeze cooled turkey chili in freezer-safe containers for up to 3 months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
Meal Prep Tip:
Portion the chili into individual containers and keep fresh toppings separate until serving.
Recipe Notes:
Simmer the chili uncovered so excess liquid can evaporate and the texture becomes thick. Cooking the tomato paste and spices before adding the liquid also creates a deeper flavor.
Protein Note:
Protein will vary depending on the ground turkey, beans, toppings, and serving size used.
